Neurodiversity in the workplace is an increasingly relevant topic, as more and more individuals with neurodivergent traits enter the workforce.  Visible Calendars: For some neurodivergent individuals, having a visual representation of time can be incredibly helpful. A visible calendar can assist with time management, reduce anxiety related to deadlines and schedule changes, and increase overall productivity. In fact, a study published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders found that individuals with autism who used visual schedules demonstrated increased independence and reduced disruptive behaviors.Comfortable Seating: Comfortable chairs that allow for cross-legged sitting or other non-traditional seating positions can be beneficial for individuals with sensory processing issues or who have difficulty sitting still for extended periods of time. Comfortable Rugs: Soft, comfortable rugs can provide a sense of comfort and familiarity for individuals who have difficulty with sensory processing or feel overwhelmed in unfamiliar environments.
