Billy, Eric, Jade, Elsie, and Tyson all arrived at the park around the same time. Before long, they were swearing at each other, swearing at visitors, and apparently finding the whole thing hilarious. The problem got even worse because every time people laughed, the parrots got exactly the reaction they wanted. Staff eventually split the five birds up, hoping they’d calm down instead of teaching each other even more bad words. African grey parrots are some of the smartest birds in the world, and they’re incredibly good at copying both words and the reactions that come with them.
