I simply made a Gmail rule that says that if a mail I receive contains the word "unsubscribe" anywhere in it, put it into a folder marked "subscriptions" and mark it as read. 😌

I want my AI to track who buys my data and block them before they can use it. Hopefully if everyone does this user data will become worthless and we can free of spam

You know what's exciting? Having a lil guy living in your huge research database like a house gnome, running upkeep, dedup, setting up entity spreadsheets, and making connections across your knowledge stack you hadn't even begun to think of. That's the game changer for me as an investigative journalist.

Well if you look at videos about AI skills, you’d think that EVERYBODY wants marketing skills and nobody does anything other than marketing.

I think you are missing the point it’s not about Building the agent for the email. It’s about coming up with the other things that sell pain points.

Nate, I built a hundred versions. What I have found is its not there yet, and the expectations get more picky every day. We say we want a inbox assistant. what we really want is a secretary a real human secretary. And at the end of the day. we still need to read all our important emails. What people really want is to filter out the trash and download the important stuff directly to our brains. its not gonna happen. Especially if your inbox involves real money and peoples lives . No one should be naive enough to trust a bot to do what ur actual job is.

I’m doing a billing software, not for clients, it processes my everyday bills. It’s not ai, not machine learning. Templates + learning over time. Not automatic, 70% better.

Better environments to run LLMs in. If you go back to the open, highly introspectable workstation environments of the 70s and 80s, one of the longer-term goals was that the transparent software environment would be accessible to intelligent applications. Instead we are trying to get ‘AI’ to run on Windows and Office.

Feels like help prioritizing work at different levels that most optimizes KPIs would be helpful. E try level versus middle managers and executives. Executives can spend the wrong amount of time stuck in the weeds.

if AI was to do anything for me consistently it would be all my prep work before I do my actual work and help me maintain standards of output for my deliverables. I want it to be my junior assistant and my editor.

Renewing my pharmacy prescriptions is now AI. I'd rather have a human to talk to, or even the system we had before "press 1 to refill". Yes, I want it to be easy to refill my prescription. No, we consumers don't want AI in everything, it's annoying.
