Btw mechanic here, if your ac isnt blowing cold air but is still constantly blowing air, then its not your fuse. The entire system wouldnt work if it was that. Go get your 134A freon or whatever and put some into your service valve. Cold in seconds

my issue was the ac relay. when the car was cold it worked great but soon as car warmed up it started throwing hit air. found the ac relay and tapped it and ac stsrted. got 2 ac relay from Amazon for $8. now its back to freezing ac

hey actual mechanic here. if a fuse is blown and you just replace it, it will more than likely blow again due to a short whether it be bare wire showing or an internal short in a sensor. Also, most AC jobs coming in during the summer either have compressors not working or AC line leaks. It's nice to sell fuse kits but don't act like it's going to magically fix everyone's problems

If your AC goes out on this heat usually means you’ve got a hole in your freaking AC hose and you’re leaking Freon other times it could be the plug but most of those times it’s that you’re leaking Freon

I mean sure doesn’t hurt to check the fuse before bringing it in. But I’ve seen 5 cars this week who at minimum needed a recharge, and at most needed a new compressor or condenser. It’s almost never just the fuse lol.
