As a social worker, she may very well love her children, but the fact is they weren't cared for and were severely neglected. Everyone can agree we all fall in hard times and sometimes it can get hard to get out from under, but it shouldnt be at the expense of continuing down a path to where you keep causing more harm to your situation where now your children are severely neglected.

You said a key statement right there. "There were no restraints put on the children." If I didn't put any restraints on my kids, they would probably be feral too. It's called parenting. Also, in big families, the older kids HELP! I get Gary Sr. and Christine were in serious decline, but there were several teenagers in that house. Some crucial parenting was not done, because instead of spending all day on TikTok, them kids should have been helping mom and dad with the older kids. The more I think about this case, I feel like maybe there wasn't "pure evil" but Gary Jr and Elizabeth were also children under the care of Christine and Gary Sr and when they went downhill, it was all over. Next level incompetence.
