I get given perfume as gifts and I’m not a massive perfume girly because of my asthma so I know from experience that when perfume expires it smells like alcohol with a tinge of the scent it used to be, it’s not worth collecting something like this.

the fact their mostly full sizes and display bottles (Liter pre bottle of the perfume).. I stick to travels and samples .. plus my absolute favorite isn't made anymore so the travel size will help me find a new one soon hopefully

My oldest daughter loves perfumes. She actually collects them. Started about 3 years ago and holy cow does she have a collection!!!!

I have my main fragrances that I wear for special occasions and I use body sprays since I work with children, and even though then I feel like that’s too much.

I’ve started working through all my perfume as I would buy a lot of sale bath and body works. If I don’t like it I send it to work with my husband to give to his coworkers.

I wrote a research paper on this a while back, but one of the studies I read for it basically said that males that overspend or have shopping addictions are more likely to have had impulse control disorders (like oppositional defiance or intermittent explosive disorder.) while female over consumers are more likely to spend compulsively and be diagnosed with disorders like OCD and generalized anxiety.
