A duelist job is to take space, and usually its done by fighting or applying pressure, a phoenix flashing and pushing someone off an angle to scale up is him getting space regardless if he killed anyone or not, him being able to scale where an enemy used to be is him doing his job

...bro how are you ascended peak if your game knowledge is so ass. There are 2 Types of Duelists. Entry Duelists and Frag Duelists. Entry Duelists like Jett, waylay, partially neon and raze are there to explode onto site fast and hold it down/ clear it (yoru is like the only Duelists wich fills both roles since he has great duel capabilities and he can also take site very well). Frag Duelists as the name suggests are there to make kills and give you the biggest edge possible in gunfights that's why they have flashes, selfheal and tools to throw of your aim. But I agree with your first take that Duelists aren't there to only get Info. That's what initiators are for with Recon or skybird.

Holy😭 this doesn’t apply at all nor does anyone even say that duelists just get information, a ini job is to get info, a duelists job and utility is made to make space, if a duelist has made space and is able to be traded they have done their job, yes the util is catered to get kills but its main job is space taking, kills come from a result of taking space with these abilities and from the individual skill of the duelist playwr

Why we arguing with him when he’s right, duelists don’t only take space, they’re expected to get kills too. The role description itself says “Duelists are self-sufficient fraggers who their team expects, through abilities and skills, to get high frags and seek out engagements first.”, duelists don’t NEED to top frag, they get info, take space, and engage first.
