@abby.on.ice: My Axel makes me so nervous because it’s inconsistent so I get scared during shows or competitors. During practice I still get scared sometimes, but when I’m able to calm myself and go into it confidently I usually land it. My layback spin though, I’m able to do it every time I try, so I don’t get nervous doing it in a show. I was so disappointed after falling I really wanted my husband to see me land it in person so I skated for the last 10 min of the session and landed a double salchow and single axel and he saw it and it made me so happy!!
