Giiiiirl, my EXACT same story - at 6 socks (21-23), am a thru-the-knee with no bones or joints in my knee but still have a knee cap that miraculously allows me to be in a BK pros (started in an AK and had 2 bending knees on 1 leg - it was insane!). However, the socks at this high level still don’t accommodate my knee cap banging against the side. None of the cups or padding they use are comfortable, (why r they so hard with little give?!) so I finally came up with the idea of cut-up pool noodles that I stick in the spaces against knee. Obviously they’re working on my next leg now, (also on my 5th iteration in 3.5 years), but not looking forward to my Boston trip this week, where I’ll be seeing my fav band & dancing til my prosthesis literally falls off (😆), having to constantly don & doff 6 socks and bring pool noodle pieces with me everywhere! 🤦♀️I also have a boa to make my whole socket as tight or loose as I want, but I maxed that out pretty early. Sucks cuz I actually love my prosthesis and am scared new one won’t fit the same, after trying 2.5 yrs to get perfect fit. Good luck & much love my fellow Amp Warrior Queen Sister! 💙🦋
