When I run my Gravely though tall grass I need to lift the deck and mow and then go back through with the deck down. I burned a belt by trying to mow with the deck down to normal height. $90 per belt!

A lot of that is just because you are a putting more through the deck then the deck can handle at any rpm... You have to take half swipes at a time
