I love shonen anime but the people who watch it get way too fixated on just people being strong and that’s all they want it’s lame as fuck. one piece is the only shonen where it isn’t solely about training arcs and being strong. it’s mainly exploration and adventure with shonen storytelling. the point of the straw hats isn’t to be the baddest crew of all the strongest mfs. it’s that they all have their own dreams, personality, and skills/utilities to bring to the table.
