Northern Ghana is set to witness a major milestone in the garment and textile industry as North Shore Apparel, the first garment factory of its kind in Northern Ghana, prepares for its grand commissioning on Friday August 28th by H.E. President John Dramani Mahama. Ahead of the commissioning, Moses Laar, Executive Assistant – Operations to the CEO, led the media on an exclusive tour of the facility, giving journalists a first-hand look at its operations, production capacity and the opportunities it is creating for young people. ✅ So far, 2,000 young men and women have been trained and equipped with employable skills, with the facility targeting more than 3,000 trained beneficiaries by the close of next week. ✅ And the bigger picture is even more exciting: when fully operational, North Shore Apparel is projected to create up to 10,000 sustainable jobs, providing meaningful employment opportunities for young people in Northern Ghana and beyond.
