@roshellezielinski: One thing you'll never catch me doing during my period is drinking ice-cold beverages. After dealing with fibroids years ago, I became much more intentional about how I support my body before, during, and after my cycle. That experience completely changed the way I look at food, herbs, hydration, and the small daily habits that add up over time. These are the drinks I personally reach for during my three-day cycle. Some are everyday staples, while others only come out when my period starts. Every choice has a purpose supporting hydration, nourishing my body, replenishing nutrients lost during menstruation, increasing my fiber intake, and making sure I'm giving myself the care I know I need. I also drink water throughout the entire day. On average, I go through about 1 to 1½ gallons daily, give or take. I make hydration a priority whether I'm on my cycle or not. One thing I stay consistent with is drinking everything warm or at room temperature. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there's a concept known as "womb dampness." While everyone's beliefs and experiences are different, I personally chose to eliminate cold drinks from my cycle routine. For me, that simple change has made a noticeable difference. I personally no longer experience the menstrual cramps or PMS symptoms I used to have, and now I genuinely look forward to having my cycle each month. This is simply what works for me. Everyone's body is different, and what has helped me may not be the right approach for someone else. I think it's important to pay attention to your body and find the routines that leave you feeling your best. NOTE especially for women with Fibroids Fiber is an important part of supporting your health after having fibroids or while having them. It helps keep your bowels moving regularly, supports a healthy gut, and plays a role in healthy estrogen metabolism by helping the body eliminate excess estrogen through the digestive tract. It helps keep you full longer, supports balanced blood sugar, and contributes to healthy cholesterol levels. One tip: if you're increasing your fiber intake, make sure you're drinking enough water. Fiber and hydration work hand in hand. My next video, I'll share everything I eat during my three-day cycle. #menstrualhealth #wombwellness #womenswellness
