You would rather be seen as a savior than see the harm you are causing. Lindsey’s blackness only suited you until you could weaponize her proximity to whiteness, perpetuating years of harm done to her. Lindsey is a Black Woman. You actively centered yourself when she warned you about a dangerous man, and ignored that although he stitched you, you, hawk and parkrose wouldn’t lose anything she would. Soon as the opportunity presented itself, you clung to white supremacy… this is why we need to keep deconstructing and decolonizing.
