Monsta rooftop same manufacturer as tourer and it’s about $2000 cheaper. Had mine for about a year and couldn’t be more happy with it. full LED’s inside, chargers, pockets it’s got it all

Being honest half the “ Australia made “ ones are all coming from the same factory my man I work in the 4wd industry and you pay for the brand ik kings gets its fair share of hate but don’t knock it till you try it they are pretty awesome and one of the cheapest you will find and if you really look into detail they are the exact same as the others just different logo

After being around quite a lot. The new ARB Intrepid is fantastic. Extra roof space to standup / sit up in to get dressed ect, easy setup & packup. Can integrate solar for 12v if needed. Plenty of useful accessories. I’ve got the 23Zero Panther and it’s okay. Setup and pickup are not much better than a swag. Benefit is how much room you get in it (5p tent. Can easily sleep 3)

I run the CSS 1.3 roof top tent on my 79, absolutely wicked and looking at getting another for the Hilux, depending what vehicle you have you’d probably be ideal with the 1.4 which is wider

Get the kings grand tourer MK3 with the 270 awning bundle from kings, I’ve had mine for 4 years never let me down, taken me to cape and back (from Brisbane) and to gulf of carpenteria and back

Personally. Tried a cheap motop. Rubbish. Spent the money the second time and went bush company ax27. Amazing. Has seen Fraser Island, cape York. Central Aus. And countless vic high country. No condensation, no dust, no water. -5 temps. 35+ temps. Rain, wind. No issues.

Personally mate I have the rgb 123 I think it is the best value for your money heaps of room for the little ones and your wife only thing would recommend is you buy one make sure to get the chassy shashy makes installation 10 times easier
