I personally think reward programs should be declared unlawful because you sell the same product at different prices to different people which is not fair to the person paying the most. If I'm not on your program and I need to buy food, now I have to pay more because I'm not on your program. It's giving... Inequality.

I have the card in my wallet, in the case I might need it for a discount, but the opportunity never came up, so I never used it. I never understood what the point of their card was.

The transition from the “Old World” to the “New World” in the early 1900s marked one of the most dramatic periods of change in modern history, as traditional societies rooted in monarchy, religion, rural life, and rigid social classes gave way to an industrialized, modern, and increasingly globalized world. Across Europe and much of the West, centuries-old empires such as the Russian, Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and German Empires began collapsing under the pressure of nationalism, political unrest, economic inequality, and rapid technological change. Massive waves of immigration brought millions of Europeans to places like the United States, where crowded cities, factories, and new opportunities symbolized both hope and hardship. Industrialization transformed daily life through electricity, automobiles, telephones, airplanes, and assembly-line production, while new ideas such as socialism, communism, feminism, and nationalism challenged traditional authority and social norms. At the same time, the horrors of World War I shattered the optimistic belief that technology and progress would automatically improve humanity, as machine guns, tanks, poison gas, and trench warfare revealed how modern advancements could also create destruction on an unprecedented scale. The war permanently altered global power structures, weakened Europe’s dominance, and helped pave the way for revolutionary movements and the rise of the United States as a major world power. Culturally, the era saw people moving away from old customs and entering a faster, more urbanized society shaped by mass media, consumer culture, and modern politics. By the 1920s, the world looked radically different from the one that existed only a few decades earlier, as humanity fully entered the modern age while leaving behind much of the traditional “Old World” order that had defined previous centuries. #historytok #facts #vintage #polishzach #fypシ
