look, when my favorite Manga gets officially translated into English, I'll start saving uo to buy it. But sometimes fan translations are my only way to access it because I don't understand Japanese

I read all of Berserk online before I had a stable job. Now that I do, I bought all 14 deluxe volumes.

I'll read it and if I love it, I buy it physical. I've done this with Promised Neverland, Blue Period, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Gachiakuta and Berserk. JJBA isn't cheap either, but I enjoy it THAT much that I insist on legally purchasing it to read it again.

not to mention fan translations are better. e.g. Viz One Piece or the localized JoJo names. what do you mean references to songs and bands are copyright issues... actual censorship

I'd be fine subscribing to read manga if it was in 1 place. I don't want 4 subscriptions to read a weekly 10 minute chapter.

A lot of mangakas think a person will read it online then never buy the books when they finally can but it’s the opposite we would adore being able to read the mangas officially so we can support the authors

I get they make money off their work but bro I dont have enough space for all the Manga ive read over time, nor am I spending 20$+ on 1 singular book. I love tachiyomi and thats probably what I'll use for the rest of my life on top of online readers.

I love "welcome to demon school iruma kun" but the official english translation hasn't caught up yet, and I can't afford to go to every bookstore in my vicinity just try to find the volume that i'm missing. most of the bookstores in my area only carry a few volumes at a time

Nanbaka stopped having an official English translation even now after its finished the only people who were able to show the ending were translators who did it from japanese to Russian to English
