@nuryewnn: #kanao :: the manga states that shinobu was 14 when kanae died, not when the kocho sisters adopted kanao. kanae couldn’t have died in the same year they met kanao, because kanao changed too much physically. when they found her, she was severely malnourished and looked much younger than her age, but later she became healthier, stronger, and taller. that likely took at least a couple of years. kanao is also about two years younger than shinobu. if shinobu was 14 when kanae died, she was likely around 11–12 when kanao was adopted. assuming kanae became a hashira at around 15–16, kanao was probably around 9–10 years old when they met #shinobu #kanae #fyp #demonslayer
