I haven’t thought of a name yet for this boy.. if you have any suggestions, please let me know ❤️. : . Today is Giving Tuesday, the biggest day of giving. There are so many worthy causes to give to and we are honored to be in their orbit. HHHH has grown to a level I had never dreamed of. And while I worked to come up with a goal for this day.. I came up short. Not because there are no goals.. trust me there are many.. too many to be exact. So I figured I would share just what it takes to run HHHH.. and our goals for the 2026 season. . . Weekly Numbers; $2,700 of grain $3,500-$4,000 of hay. . . Veterinary costs: An average of $3,000-$10,000 a month depending on surgeries,emergencies, RX prescriptions. . . Farrier costs An average of $1,500-$2,500 a month depending on season and needs. . . There are no salaries paid here. As you know, I bartend to pay my own bills and contribute to the sanctuary, and we all are volunteer based. In 2025 we had our hospital barn built which will finish off close to $70,000 in labor and materials. . Our goal for 2026 is to expand our property line and build an additional 20 stall barn which is already in the works. HHHH is a sanctuary meaning once our kids arrive here, they never leave. My job as their mom is to continue improving and achieving our goals to meet their needs. . . Current goals we are working towards: Purchasing a large animal glide (a gurney for horses) to have ready in our trailer and our hospital barn incase a down horse needs to be moved in or out. Bring our tractor home. Our Big John Deere tractor which does a majority of the heavy work around here has been in the shop getting a new engine. The total came out to be $7,500 and we would love to bring her home. . . Thank you so much HHHH family ❤️
