Pretty sure that’s what happened in the Pitfalls episode. Marvin doesn’t just fall because the walkway is narrow, i think the floor actually gives way beneath him after Mark calls him over to check out the green light. Backrooms is shown to be unstable, so moving slowly and cautiously makes sense
