That summer was incredible. We were all outside with eachother, just strangers with something in common, but having the time of our lives no matter the age, race, size, orientation. It was truly once in a lifetime summer that I’ll never forget, you could feel the togetherness.

I remember pushing my baby around in a stroller to hatch my eggs. such a similar time. it really brought us together that summer. thank you Pokémon. been here since the start 💚

I remember being In New Orleans shortly after it released. Me and my friends were in the public park and someone from way across the park screamed they found a dragonite and EVERYONE started running. It was a wild time

One night that summer, my sister & I ran out of the house around 9pm to hit a pokestop down the street… we met so many people outside, just hanging out. We ended up staying out until about 3/4am. Strangers let us use power banks to charge phones, gave us snacks/drinks, & it was just… awesome. I miss that feeling of community & peace we had back then.

My friends and I used to go out drinking and then we’d run around our local park catching Pokémon for hours until we sobered up enough to go home. It was the best non-childhood summer I ever had
