My 2 favorite coworkers are retiring in the next couple years. After that I’m probably the oldest and most experienced mechanic at the shop. It’s gonna suck not having some of their knowledge and experience around. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses that we help each other out with.

Happens to us all, I was used to being the pup. Now I'm the old hound. I still keep pushing the young to strive for more, keep training, keep learning. Get it all on paper!!! If they offer free training, take it! Slow down and listen to the old heads, we may not be trying to move up. Doesn't mean we don't enjoy when our young hands do. As we live through you when we are gone.

😂😂 I'll be 44 in August, and I'm the second youngest out of the group I work with. The senior guy (SENIORITY) has taught me in every spot I've worked in for the almost 25 yrs😁😁
