Two things - Bruno is just 2 years older than Tonali, so age is irrelevant. Second - it’s not a disaster if he leaves. We can’t function without him and might be better to rebuild a team that isn’t so dependent on one player to get the other eleven to performs

Newcastle have spent the last 3 seasons selling all of their essential talent (Isak, Tonali, Gordon, etc. They won the league cup two seasons ago and got rid of all the players responsible for winning the trophy in the first place. They should be competing with Villa for European places and even European trophies. Instead, they’re perfectly content to finish middle of the table and maybe squeak out a league cup every once in a while. Top level players are ambitious, too ambitious for Newcastle.
