The average calculation is being phased out over 10years since 2025, going with total contributions approach. I worked for 2 years when I was 18 and then had some years in college which brought my average down. Don't think of this when our kids start work. Guess auto enrolment may sort this issue??

So I got homemakers scheme for the years 1992 when mine where born, up until age 12.

The Homemakers scheme only applies to any years after April 1994. Prior to that date no contributions will be made to your overall contributions
