I have bipolar 2 and i vented in a comment section ABOUT BIPOLAR 2 and someone replied saying that i can’t complain and that people with bipolar 1 have it worse and i need to “suck it up”

got a mental health assessment tmr because i told a different gp that a psychiatrist told me i could have bp2 but he couldnt diagnose me (I told a different gp this over a year ago and they lit didnt care). This guy got me an appointment in less then 2 weeks cause he actually asked why he thought that and was like yh... okay I see why he said that. I have no idea what to expect

I have bipolar 1 and don’t see bipolar 2 as “bipolar lite.” Right, hypomania is less severe, but still destructive. On top of that, I hear that bipolar 2 has longer lasting depressive episodes which are harder to treat

My dad had bibolar 1 obviously but was misdiagnosed as schizoaffective by male doctor who harrassed women, he didnt like my dad obviously. My mom has bibolar too but it is still not clear if it was type 1 or 2

my mum's got bipolar and my nan and my great man I'm not sure type though I'm gonna say type 2 I don't know but I know she's a good mum so that's good she did tell me what type is but I can't remember
