Gen X here, and I actually remember those police directing traffic with the long white gloves and Regimented hand signals 🙌 I also remember the damn electric poles skipping off the overhead wire on the trams 😅 Melbourne was such a hustling city back then 💜💯

I was 7yo but I remember them times..my nan working at the call centre in Myers and that was completely different to now alot of Melbourne was underground walking threw the old train stations shops under the tunnels in Melbourne can anyone remember that all around Flinders Street??
