@agrotonomy: Basil grows very quickly in aeroponic towers, reaching maturity within 5 to 6 weeks from the day we transplant the seedlings. We harvest it before it starts flowering because the leaves have the best flavor at this stage. Once basil flowers, the plant begins putting more energy into seed production, and the leaves become less aromatic. For sowing, we use pelleted basil seeds. A pelleted basil seed is a normal basil seed coated with an inert clay-based material that makes it much larger, rounder, and easier to handle. Since basil seeds are naturally tiny, pelleting allows us to sow them much faster and more accurately, reducing mistakes and improving efficiency during the seeding process. #basil #seeds #seedlings #farming #gardening
