So me, my lady Cache and my family planned a trip this weekend at Breezy Point Resort, MN. We decided to go to the pool and have a nice time. As we were in the jacuzzi 3 staff approach us. A older white woman, a young white woman and a middle aged white man. They came in the gates and went straight directly to us (the only colored family) and ask us how are we doing. I say good and as I say that she is continuing to approach me in the jacuzzi. She kneels down by me and says nothing at all and my lady says “let’s cut to the chase, wassup” and the older white lady is literally lost for words ! Long story short the lady says their Jamaican employee told them that there were other Jamaican employees in the pool. Even after she realized that was a lie she still continued on so what is that saying ? Racial profiling to me and later on they bring a Jamaican employee to where we rented and I asked that Jamaican employee did you say what was being said ? He says no I was at home I just clocked in ! Insane ! I never been through a situation like this and ts is crazy 💯💯 it’s really sad man I just wanted to enjoy my family and my woman’s birthday weekend ! But this happens because of the color of our skin and because we are where there are mainly whites. That still does not make it right to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Oh and everything was paid for with receipts ! Unacceptable 👎🏾 I’m learning a lot from this experience. Yes I see it on the internet and etc but actually live in person, NO ! Tsc ngl gotta pay attention. This place is not recommended for the COLORED human beings!!!!#RacialProfiling #breezypointresort #Minnesota
