وشلون زينب مشت ممشه ... 🥺💔 In the heart of Holy Karbala, specifically in 1966, a voice was born that became the most iconic symbol in Hussaini history. Basim Al-Karbalaei was not just a chanter; he was a project for a vocal epic that began in Karbala's old alleys, drawing inspiration from the legendary "Hamza Al-Zagheer" and mastering the foundations of the sacred pulpit. From Karbala to Exile: The journey began in childhood within Karbalaei processions. However, in 1980, due to harsh political circumstances, Basim and his family moved to Iran (Isfahan). There, he began a phase of academic refinement, studying the Quran and Tajweed under great masters, which gave his voice the strength to master the most difficult melodies. The 1990s: Global Fame: His true fame launched in the early 90s from the Sultanate of Oman. He collaborated with great poets, led by (Jaber Al-Kazemi), forming a duo that transformed the Hussaini poem from traditional styles to modern emotional themes that deeply touch the human soul and sp #التراث_الباسمي #باسم_الكربلائي #باسم_الكربلائي_عشق_لا_ينتهي #باسم_الكربلائي_خادم_لن_يتكرر #باسم_الكربلائي_رادود_ما_له_مثيل
You can buy a poster of two hundred cognitive biases. We love spotting them — it feels like proof that we, at least, think clearly. But what if almost all of them are secretly the same one? The psychologists Oeberst and Imhoff studied all the range of famous biases and argued that they all basically boil down to the same two biases: that I am the good guy and that I make good decisions. Imagine someone called Tom. Tom believes he is a fair and reasonable person. So when he reads an article he disagrees with, he doesn’t think “maybe I’m wrong.” He thinks: “this journalist is biased.” That’s the hostile media effect. Or when a friend suggests he has a blind spot, Tom thinks, “other people have blind spots; I see things as they really are.” That’s the bias blind spot. Two biases manifesting from the same underlying confirmation bias. Oeberst and Imoff argued that this bias isn’t broken logic or bad thinking. Our brains are designed to look after themselves. Their main aim is to make sure that we are healthy and safe. Its job is to keep you confident enough to act, and hopefully enough to get out of bed. The good thing about this is that it encourages us to greater empathy. Sometimes, someone might actually be pigheaded or even idiotic. But 99 times out of a hundred, it’s probably that they are protecting their own ego and you’re proteting yours. And we’re hardly to blame for that.
