Butter chicken Chicken marination: 600 gms chicken boneless (cubes) Half cup yogurt Half tsp salt 1/2 tsp red chilli 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/4 tsp turmeric 1 tbsp garlic paste 1 tbsp lemon juice Oil for frying Other ingredients Half cup oil 1 small onion chopped 1 tbsp gingergarlic paste 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp garam masala 2 medium tomatoes blended 3 tbsp tomato paste 1 cup thick cream(add 3-4 tbsp milk to thin it) 5 tbsp butter Half cup water 1 tsp kasuri methi Coriander and cream for garnish Marinate the chicken with above ingredients, in a pan add 4 tbsp oil, add chicken, cook on medium high flame for 10-12 minutes until you get a nice dark colour, take it out and set aside In a pan add half cup oil,saute onions for 7-8 minutes until it gets light brown,and put gingergarlic paste, mix,add tomatoes and tomato paste, mix, add water,Cover and cook for 10 minutes at medium heat, uncover add cream, mix, add chicken,toss well,put kasuri methi, coriander, 2 tbsp butter, some cream, cover and cook on low heat for 9-10 min until oil comes up.
