It’s the inconsistency of the calls both on field and VAR that is ruining this. I’m a US fan, thought the red card on Balogun was harsh but ref and VAR were following letter of the law. It shouldn’t have been overturned. But then multiple other players should have received a red card for the same offense and nothing was called.

“No reason was given by FIFA” bro just say you watched the games with your eyes closed and your TV off. Yes both cards were given for the same reason. One was a genuinely horrendous challenge and the other was an inconsistency that every player and commentator has agreed is never a red card. These incidents are not the same.
