I recently flew Vietnam Airlines Airbus A350 Business Class on a 5.5 hour flight from Hanoi to the Middle East, and I have to admit, I was genuinely impressed. I booked this return ticket for around US$1,000, making it one of the best Business Class value tickets I’ve found in a long time. Since it was my first time flying Vietnam Airlines, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see what they had to offer. After spending few hours at the Lotus Lounge, I made my way to this Airbus A350 which features a 1-2-1 Business Class configuration, giving every passenger direct aisle access to their own private suite and a fully flat bed. The cabin is modern, exceptionally clean, and beautifully designed. I really liked Vietnam Airlines’ branding and cabin aesthetics. From the moment I stepped onboard, I was welcomed by an incredibly friendly crew. After settling into my seat, I was offered a selection of welcome refreshments, a refreshing face towel, and a guided introduction to the suite and its features. Shortly after takeoff, the dinner service began. The crew handed out beautifully presented menus with several lunch options before starting the meal service, which I’ll be reviewing in Part 2.
