@nouseskou: When a newborn baby sees the world, perhaps objects with names do not yet exist. But even without knowing those names, the baby may already feel a mother’s love and warmth. Light, color, edges, depth, texture. Fragments of information entering the eyes may slowly connect through time and accumulated experience, eventually becoming something we recognize as “existence.” Today, I felt that there might be something similar in the way AI begins to understand images. Of course, this is not an answer that explains the entire world, but just one possible landscape I felt today. The state of the world before meaning appears. The moment when recognition begins.
