My vote is to wallpaper above the paneling in the hallway and paint the painting urban bronze!! Really moody!! 🤍

I think putting in the hallway is a great compromise! Then if you ever decide to use that piece in another room, you don’t have to take the wallpaper off the back of the shelves.

Maybe you could use a picture frame for the wallpaper? That way you can change it up later on! But it's beautiful! Good choices!

Use the pattern and color way to accent other parts of the rooms.

Why not on just one wall of the newly painted shelves not all of it but maybe in middle part of it to break up the scheme. The shelves are very pretty!!

I would use the wallpaper in the hall on the top half, not the bottom, but that’s just me. I need a closer look at the hall wall.

Just do the backs of the two ends on those angled shelves. It would stand out there since you wouldn’t have as much decor on those since they are smaller.

Accent wall will be covered by the bookcase. The wall in the hallway is divided by a chair rail. Hang the wallpaper on the top half of the hallway wall.

Frame it and hang it on the wall as an art piece

Just put double stick tape on the corners of the wallpaper (do not pull the backing off the wallpaper) and you can put the wallpaper on the back panels and see if you like it. If not you can pull it off and not damage the paint job you did. It’s just stuck on with double sided tape.

what if you framed a piece of the wallpaper instead of using it as actual wallpaper?

okay I didn't read through all your comments, so if this was already said I'm sorry. but first of all it is absolutely gorgeous great idea I can't wait to see it in person. but you guys use coasters. get yourself a set of coasters from the Dollar tree they have those little wood square ones and use the wallpaper on those coasters and then you can add them in. that's my opinion.

Accent wall in the hallway? Just make sure you can get enough of it before you start because that would really stink.
