My sweetheart drove 2 hours both ways to be with me every weekend. For 15 years. Our relationship was wonderful and he was wonderful to make the sacrifice for me. He died 2 years ago.

I was in a long distance relationship for 10 years. It had so many positives and negatives. I truly enjoyed the time we had together. We made every moment count. In the end it was time to either be together or end it. 8hour drives weren’t working for me anymore for health reasons. And living together had even more roadblocks so in the end it was no longer an acceptable choice. It really just depends on what you really need in a relationship. And that can really vary from year to year and from person to person. Good luck!! Enjoy each moment!

I think the general bulk of the list should remain the same, but there should be some wiggle room in every situation. We cannot paint every relationship with the same brush. Sometimes we have to rewrite the script but not go off course too much. They're just my opinion.
