Out of jealousy, frustration and anger of Ian. Bear forced Nikki to love him. You see in the film that if Bear didn't make a one willow wish, then Nikki would have carried on with Ian. Bear would have got Sarah, which wouldn't have been a bad choice. It looked like he found his soul mate until...... B4 anyone says anything........ I know that if Bear didn't go through with the one willow wish, then Obession doesn't become a movie.
