@ohmedgroup: Your hematocrit went up on TRT? Don’t panic. Get context. A rise in hematocrit can happen when testosterone supports red blood cell production. That does not automatically mean you are in danger, but it does mean your labs should be monitored by a medical team that knows what they are looking at. 🚫 Stop fearing numbers without understanding them. ✅ Start tracking the full picture: symptoms, labs, dosing, hydration, sleep, and overall health. TRT is not guesswork. It should be personalized, monitored, and adjusted when needed. Know your numbers. Work with a specialist. Optimize what matters. #TRT #MensHealth #HormoneHealth #TestosteroneTherapy #LowTestosterone #optimalhealth #MichaelNielsenMD

to a point you are correct but for some it goes so high it's too thick raising BP and less O2 to organs and brain

This is very misleading information. People who get high hematacrit because of their environment Naturally adapt to their environment and adjust to compensate for the lack of oxygen. This is NOT the same as individuals who's bodies create excess red blood cells due to TRT. Trying to equate these two is factually incorrect and dangerous.

Mine went up to 54%. I do live at a high elevation similar to Denver. Everyone is telling me I need to donate blood to bring it down. Everything else seems fine, blood pressure and heart rate is normal.

53yo here. Was on trt through dr for two years. Got PE 2yrs ago, every doc and specialist said stop the trt. I did stop in Jan 2025. Last scan shows no clots. Not a dr and miss my trt but I thought I was going to die. Maybe I am just unlucky?

I think it becomes an issue when guys are sprinkling in some eq, mast, tren, etc etc.. running testosterone or a trt protocol (or close enough) and getting some type of daily exercise, keeping the diet decent, and sleeping correctly seems to be the ticket.

The wording is carefully chosen here. Raising it a little bit higher, sure is fine. 18 / 54 H&H and up like a lot of Test patients, and you’re playing with fire
