before I had my stroke I just felt unwell the day before I had a really banging headache felt like I wanted to be sick but couldn't so I just put it down to a bad migraine which I did suffer with as a teenager took 2 headache tablets and went to bed next morning still feeling like I did the night before banging headache and still feeling sick so I tried to carry on as normal hoping it would just go away on it's own then my husband noticed that the left side of my face had dropped and called an ambulance I was blue lighted to hospital where they told me that I had suffered a stroke and was lucky to be alive only for my husband's quick thinking I wouldn't be here today apparently it was a blood clot that had caused it never in a million years would I have put them symptoms down to being stroke related and I can honestly say it scared me

My symptoms were like yours. But my GP keeps saying ongoing vertigo. I am still waiting for the results of my MRI.

Mine was haemorrhagic, and I felt a cold gush at the time it started and just felt really slow. My speech was slow and an effort, and my arm didn’t feel like mine. It was a full 24 hours before I went to the walk in clinic, who then referred me to urgent care, where I had the CT that saw it.
