God has put planes and licenses and education on this planet for a reason. He tells us to pursue education and seek knowledge. yes, we pray, but we don’t pray and then walk aimlessly hoping that a miracle will fall into our laps. we take the opportunities from our Lord to develop and seek these things.

If you mean by work you mean, we always get exactly what we ask for even if its not fair to other people, not in our best interest or against logical rules with which the universe is design to operate then no ... By praying you submit to God, knowing if its in your interest God will help you with the needed causes and add blessing to your efforts not like a magic trick.

if one pray for a plane to land safely what does one prayed for , is it for the pilot not to panicked during this kind of situation, is it for good luck, or for everything to land safely without anything bad happening. Sometimes prayer works in a way that it gives one comfort and a feeling of assurance that everything will be alright cuz god is with us and because of it one can feel calm, be able to know what to do and avoid panicking, For me prayer is not nonsense if it could make the pilot feel better and not to lose hope, it always works, that if your a believer, believing in something that others might find a delusion were one cling in order to convince itself to the point it can assure safety even if that is not to be seen yet.

i love this. the LordsJesusairline. domestic and international travel 80$ there and back. Pilots handle take off and flight. Landing safely on possible with christian prayers no other way to land alive is possible. Just pray

what an absurd 'argument', I thought this dude was supposed to be smart. Religious people still have to go to work, we can't pray that money falls from the sky. And we have a toothache, we go to the dentist. We do this while also praying that the end result of our work is getting money, and that going to the dentist will result in alleviating the pain. We operate inside the world, and use the tools that God put at our disposal to pursue our goals. Not getting into an airplane where the pilot has no training and just prays to God that he can operate the plane is not an hipocrisy on our part. The premise is beyond ridiculous. no words
