The Shift - Unmapped :
Yes! And- You can pay for some bills directly from your credit card. Your electric bill, your gas bill, all of your fuel, all of your food, Internet, mobile phone. The important part is being so disciplined that you go in and make near daily payments from your checking account to your credit card so that you’re not racking up debt. You’re simply using the tool to pay for all of your monthly expenses. If you’re making $50,000 -$80k a year, you’re probably spending close to $40,000 a year. Subtract your car payment and your rent/mortgage (because you can’t pay those with a credit card) and you have plenty of expenses that you can pay for, and immediately pay off, with your Chase Sapphire card – which is the one I would also suggest – and you will have enough points to take a great vacation every year! Also, even if you close a fairly new credit card account and it doesn’t damage your credit score, having documented accounts over a long period of time, significantly boosts your credit score.
