@sightsofsara: Climbing Mount Musala - the highest mountain in Bulgaria and in the Balkan Peninsula 🏔️ last year and I met Kristen on a @whynotadventures_ trip in the Balkans where we were submitting the highest mountain in Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Kosovo. We found out that we climbed Mount Triglav one day apart, and that we were both planning on doing Mount Musala and Mount Rysy separately - so in September, we joined forces and climbed Mount Rysy (highest mountain in Poland) and this year we finally made Musala happen! Kristen is climbing every European high point to raise money for cancer research. She is so strong and incredible and I highly recommend following her journey :) She really inspired me to share a cause that I care about during my adventures.
