Well done Shaba and Sandra. personally I don't blame the bus driver because of the following: 1. Why would a train traffic officer wait for the train to reach closer then come over to stop the bus. 2. Why not even a small Traffic Road block to let vehicles on the road reduce speed. 3. Nut even an open Road signage to alert vehicles along that point that there would be a train crossing. Last but not least, for the case of Railway transport, traffic officer should have been at the road point 20mins before the train reached the point, hold on vehicles to let the train cross. Not every road user was aware that the train was crossing at the moment. Sorry to the kids and whoever was affected.

Railway Crossings should have lights to indicate that a train is approaching! A police officer putting up their hand is just a minor distraction to the driver.

it's so so sad, but u guys also u have to notice that the traffic office started stopping almost at the same time when the train was entering the road and more so he was supposed to stand in a way that he stops two sides at once cause imagine he was only facing the side where the bus was coming from meaning people from the opposite direction would think they aren't stopped

People are not understanding drivers who take students for a trip, they tend to fear/tend to dodge traffic coz of overloading of students thinking that he will be charged that Y they tend to just go and there was advantage that it was still dark for the officer to catch the number plate
