Agree with you 1000% mate I wanna introduce people to tunes that’s never been Hurd before. Defo dose depends on venue and vibe but I try split my set up of a nice split of unknown tunes that I think will fit, tunes that match my sound and towards end of set I’ll chuck like 1-2 crown pleasers to end the set off

100% mate it’s a shame that 90% of “DJs” that get booked are just ones that play what’s hot at the time and the tunes we’ve all heard every single set but then at the same time majority of the crowds at these more commercial events don’t care about the music they’re just there for the night out 🤣🤣 shocking
