I’m a nurse and I can tell you that Sickle Cell is one of the most painful diseases. Yes, he was sleeping comfortably from all the medication needed to get him out of pain and hydrated. 😞

This makes me so mad. You should not have been treated like that! I don’t understand why doctors don’t take pain seriously. Hope you feel better soon. I’m glad you stood up for yourself. These doctors need to be retrained regarding sickle cell treatment.
