I've just had a text from anglian water re the hosepipe ban. I'm not letting my plants wither away. I pay enough for my water as its on a meter. it's a joke!!

I find it hilarious… that they said on radio Norfolk the other day there’s no chance of a ban yet… and then boom just like that it’s here. Maybe if they dealt with all the leaks it would be less of an issue

I'm in hull .. don't even go there ... got a letter from the council saying I have a beautiful garden ... I'm waiting for the hose pipe ban ... I've got 4 water butt's.. walk in shower ( no bath ) 2 in the house ... pipes breaking on the roads all over taking weeks for them to attend to ... no reduction in my bills when they put a hose pipe ban in ... come look round my area .. we're are the bees and butterflies ? in my garden ... xx

Amount of water wasted because of the leaks from main pipes, caused by poor maintenance, is the problem. Banning hosepipes is ridiculous.
