@lordleathercraft: When preparing my leathergoods, I always finish my edges with burnishing them. But the process isn't just "Apply Tokonole and burnish", you have to be patient and have some prerequisites: - veg-tan or latigo leather - a flat edges (trim allowance can help here) One you got that, you can use this process: 1. Sand with 500 grit sandpaper and check all the edge was affected 2. Sand with 800-1000 grit sandpaper 3. Wet with 50/50 Tokonole/Water, and sans with the same sandpaper. (3.b. If you need to bevel, to it now) 4. Sand with a 1500 grit sandpaper 5. Wet again and sand again with this 1500 grit. 6. Go to 2000 grit, dry and wet sanding. 7. Apply Tokonole and let it dry 30s 8. Use a canvas (Cotton, t-shirt, denim) and rub fast until the shine comes. This is my process, and it works all the time. You can obviously adjust it to your liking. Remember, the important part is from 1. to 6. because they are the steps that strengthen your edges. The shine is for the show off :D You'll see more detailed videos of my process from time to time. See ya!
