Anitta was so well written. As a person who is a descendent of slaves, I do tend to enjoy revenge plot lines mores especially because Anitta wish for revenge is utterly justified. The entire kingdom was built off the blood of her sisters, their entire history was rewritten to be that of monsters when they were simply human, and worst of all the person she loved imprisoned her and tried to say “your one of the good ones” implying that her goodness comes only from her failure to protect those she loved. She was beyond well written and I sadly dropped the manwha after seeing the full reveal on why she was even the antagonist because I can not read stories that tries to frame the victim as wrong for their for justice and revenge.

Possibly an unpopular opinion but it’s true that it would have been the typical betrayed fl takes revenge on the emperor who used her powers if Anita was the mc. Having her as the antagonist who actually has every right to do what she’s doing even if she’s killing people is what makes it more interesting. I wish the author made Regina more nuanced and morally grey instead and possibly have something more of a Medea/Psyche dual mc narrative with more of character driven story and romance taking a backseat.

I agree, but I think.. that means in her previous life Regina was the villain and Anitta was the main character. So... this story is about when the villain(Regina) comes back to life and becomes the main character, right??? that's why Anitta become Villain in this story

tbh i don't really blame the author for that because they just want to make story that popular in the market, i know the feeling that your own story not gonna be so popular because It's still not the market story that many people want. We don't know how marketing stories work in Korea.
