Idc how they afford it, I want to know why they would spend that much money on a short trip when there are so many more memorable places for cheaper that they could enjoy for a longer period of time. I want to maximize my money & the memories made from the trip. Standing in crowed lines & overpaying for pictures & food is not my idea of a good time, lol.

There are so many good hacks to save money at Walt Disney World. Stay in the economy, resorts, do not buy that meal plan, pick certain weeks. I just went on a seven day Disney vacation and took my dog to their private day camp every day and the total was $1900. That was staying on Disney property. It’s all about finding the right weeks and there are thousands of creators on here that will help you do that. Who knew Disney World was slow the seven days before Fourth of July?

I have been to Disney…don’t think I’d ever go back. Some of the lines at Universal were like 3+ hours long…so many other things I’d rather do

Living in FL helps as we can drive and come back same day. Also, several FL resident discounts. I recently went on a Friday, got a hotel room, saw a comedian (neither on Disney property) and went to Hollywood Studios the next day, all in (hotel, food, etc) about $300 because of discounts and having annual passes. By the way, I do not recommend coming until after October, it’s like Satan’s armpit down here now! 😂

We have the lowest tier annual passes to Disney and we don’t typically stay onsite. And we live 2.5 hrs away. We can’t even go to the parks on weekends and holidays with our passes, not would we want to. With these passes, you visit twice and they are basically paid for 🤣

It’s actually cheaper to go to Disney for a 12-14 hour day than it is to go to most concerts or sporting events. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s an experience. Also, stay off property not on or look at time share rentals. Tons of options.

We have DVC. Paid upfront for 300 points. Have 45 years of Disney trips paid for. Just have to pay annual dues. Super discounted annual passes. Still travel to other points of the world.
