Regarding lazy Susan, you’re assuming people have tons of center space where they can leave their appliances out. That’s not always the case. And what’s wrong with a lazy Susan or those pull out swivel corner shelves? They’re fantastic. Butcher block inside the drawer is perfectly fine. Again, if you don’t have the counter space.

People that love to cook put spices in a drawer under the counter top. I prefer to keep my avocado & EVO oils on the countertop next to my rangetop

i like pull out shelfing,but not for spiceses and herbs,i would use it for things i don't use as often or something i use with my cooking pans,like lids for cookingpots
