Wanderlog is a great free travel planning app where you can filter the types of stops/attractions which is super helpful! if you have the resources to rent a car, doing a Midwest/Great Lakes trip over a few days is so fun! lots of downtime bc there are no major attractions like Disneyworld or whatever, but cute motels along the way and then day trip attractions like the Devil's Tower, Wall Drug, the Jolly Green Giant, Corn Palace, a ton of beautiful scenery, and everything is cheap.

some tinfs I have saved in my map but have yet to go to: St Louis City Museum, Hot Springs National Park, Precious Moments Chapel Gift Shop (lmao), Hidden River Cave, Andrew Valley Rail Tour. Or! Go chasin water falls and hang out in a water fall- that always fixes my depression and its free after getting there lol oh also Mothman Museum and Sasquatch Museum been on my list 😂

In all honesty, you gotta go to the Black Hills but do everything -except- Mt Rushmore because it sucks and everything else is much better. I'm there right now in the northern area which I haven't been to before 🙌
